Orthodontic Specialty Services - Dr. Aron Dellinger - Meet the Team

1. Favorite Childhood Memory?

I had so much fun running around my grandparents' farm in Michigan with my three cousins and my two brothers (I was the only girl). We would wonder through all the barns jumping from the bales of hay and pretending that we were driving the tractors. We would walk the lanes between the fields to where the cows were grazing and help my grandpa, dad and uncles call the cows in at the end of the day to be milked.

2. What is your dream vacation?

Melbourne Australia (I don't want to travel anywhere that I would have to learn a new language). The countryside is beautiful and the coast is gorgeous. There is so much to do with markets, music venues, food and site seeing. Plus, I love their accent.

3. If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Lobster and mashed potatoes!

4. Favorite restaurant?

Anywhere that serves good seafood.

5. Favorite movie?

"Legends of the Fall". It has everything: wartime, the older days in the west, a love story, family, betrayal, and of course Brad Pitt when he was young. He is so hunky!

6. Favorite book?

I don't have a favorite. I like to read romantic fiction, but I haven't read a book in quite some time. My go-to authors are Danielle Steel and Nora Roberts. I also like biographies.

7. Biggest pet peeve?

Irresponsible people! I can't stand it!

8. As a child, what did you think you wanted to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a nurse. My aunt was a nurse and I thought she was so cool.

9. Beach or mountains?

100% beach. I love the water; whether it is a lake or an ocean. My husband and I lived by the coast in Texas when my boys were little. We were at the beach every weekend with our friends riding our 4 wheelers in the dunes or along the shore.

10. Which celebrity would you love to have over for dinner and why?

Oh, I really don't know. I would rather go to their house so I could see how elaborate they live.

11. If you could donate $1,000,000 to the charity of your choice what would it be?

(I have a few I would donate to, because they are the ones that have affected my loved ones.) Organizations that help with Muscular Sclerosis, cancer, and Alzheimer's Disease.

12. What is your proudest accomplishment?

My sons! Just to know I had a hand in helping them become the men they are today. I am so proud of them!

13. What song would you say sums you up?

Be Kind by Zak Abe.

14. What hobby makes you the happiest?

Flower gardening and hiking/strolling the trails in state parks.

15. If you had 3 wishes, what would you wish for?

To heal everyone, peace, and lots of money.

16. Dogs or cats?

Dogs. Right now I have what I call my granddogs; Max is a blonde Cocker Spaniel and Oakley is a Golden Retriever.

17. What's your most hated chore?

House work- it never ends!

18. Do you have any phobias?

I don't like it when I can't see. My husband took me scuba diving in Lake James. When I got down to where I could no longer see my hand in front of my face, I tapped him and motioned UP!!! I did not like the darkness! I think I was really afraid that I couldn't see what might touch me.

19. If you could have a super power, what would it be?

Flying. BUT if I could have the magical powers of Samantha from the TV show "Bewitched" I would choose that one - twitch my nose and change anything for the better.

20. What is your favorite snack/treat?

My snack is chips and salsa, but my treat would be the carrot cake at Ruth Chris Steakhouse. Yummy!!!!!!!!!!
